IC Algorithm Engineer (Demura)

Responsibilities

1. Conduct risk assessments of Demura solutions during the product development stage and prepare solution reports aligned with MicroLED products and backplane ICs.

2. Design, develop, debug, and optimize Demura algorithms to continuously improve display quality.

3. Debug, verify, upload, and troubleshoot in-house production programs to ensure stable mass production.

4. Evaluate and optimize rework solutions for Mura defects on production lines, drive program Takt Time (TT) optimization, and improve yield and production capacity.

5. Analyze visual-effect-related issues arising from customer complaints, formulate corrective actions, and coordinate with relevant departments to keep projects progressing on schedule.

Establish and optimize Demura product development processes and specifications to support standardized product development.

Participate in the development of other display IP-related algorithms, including Gamma, Dither, and SPR.

Qualifications:

1. Full-time Bachelor’s degree or above in optics, electronics, automation, computer science, or a related field.

2. More than 5 years of experience in the display industry; experience in microdisplay R&D is preferred.

3. Strong programming skills, with proficiency in at least one of the following: C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.

4. Solid fundamentals in electronic circuits and understanding of the driving principles of microdisplay panels.

5. Familiarity with Demura compensation logic and IC algorithm architecture; experience interfacing with IC vendors on algorithm integration is required.

6. Possess experience in independently complete Demura solution risk assessment, design, debugging, and problem-solving for projects; experience in panel visual tuning and projects for major domestic or international customers is preferred.
