Good News: VIJO Selected for Leading Talent Program

Talents gather and move in the same direction. On July 27–28, the evaluation and defense session for The 18th Jinji Lake Major Technology Leading Talent of Suzhou Industrial Park Award was officially held. VIJO Optoelectronics, led by Wang Chenggong, together with colleagues Huang Zhen and Zheng Pengyuan, traveled to the Suzhou Industrial Park Training and Management Center to compete for the leading talent title alongside outstanding startup teams from across Suzhou.

Over the two-day period, 440 high-quality projects from around the world converged in the Park, where a panel of experts conducted on-site scoring and provided evaluation comments. Selected projects will receive support policies under three categories—Leading, Growth Leading, and Innovation Leading—with total funding of more than RMB 50 million available.

During the on-site defense, Dr. Wang gave a detailed presentation on VIJO’s vision, core competitiveness, development roadmap, and values. The team responded firmly and convincingly to the questions raised by the panel, earning unanimous recognition and active engagement from the experts. In the end, VIJO stood out from more than 400 projects and was awarded the honor of Innovation Leading Talent of Suzhou Industrial Park.

In this process, Wang Chenggong, Zheng Pengyuan, Zhang Yu, and Huang Zhen made exceptional efforts to ensure the smooth completion of the project, and we extend our sincere appreciation and recognition for their hard work.

Founded in December 2023, VIJO completed its financing and officially commenced operations in May 2024. Within just a few months, the company has already earned strong recognition from leaders, experts, and industry stakeholders in Suzhou Industrial Park, achieving an impressive start. This success would not have been possible without the efforts of all members of VIJO, and we believe the team will continue to build on this momentum and deliver even more solid and remarkable results in the future.
